Lead-Selenium Batteries
A type of battery that uses Selenium alloy with lead to improve the strength and castability of the lead grid. The hardness necessary for handling the battery plates is achieved by age hardening due to finely dispersed antimony. This results in capacity stability as well as rather good cycling performance.
