Pulse Start Metal-Halide
An electric lamp that produces light by an electric arc through a gaseous mixture of vaporized mercury and metal halides. Pulse start technology increases the starting voltage and provides a special electronic starting circuit which is often referred to as an “igniter” or “starting aide”.
